Federal chairman German Cycling Federation ADFC
Born in 1955, the surveying engineer carries out his main profession in the district of Recklinghausen. Ulrich Syberg is an active local politician in the city council of Herne. As the cyclists’ spokesman he represents there the subject of “sustainable mobility”.
An active member of the German Cycling Federation for about 20 years, he became the district`s chairman in Herne in 1992 and member of the German Cycling Federation`s board of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1996.
Since 2010 he is the federal chairman of the German Cycling Federation. An essential goal of his work as a chairman is to advance the integration of the bicycle in society.
