Roman Bartha

Siemens AG, Austria

Roman Bartha was born in 1966. He studied mechanical engineering at the Vienna University of Technology, with a special focus on control engineering and thermal turbo machinery. In 2009 Roman Bartha passed the examination as a governmental certificated civil engineer for mechanical engineering. Since 1992 he works at Siemens AG Austria in different functions; from 1999 to 2009 he was Division Head for fossil power generation. Afterwards he was responsible for E-Mobility within Siemens in the CEE Cluster and also worked as managing director of Austrian Mobile Power (Verein für Elektro-Mobilität).

During the last four years he was part of several research & development projects. Roman Bartha was the leading head in the business development of an E-Mobility provider joint venture, together with VERBUND AG. The R&D project EmporA is the first of its kind in the area of E-Mobility in which the partners from the automotive industry, infrastructure technology, energy supply and science are all working together on the development of an integrated system solution for future mobility.
