ACCESSIBILITY, WE ALL NEED IT
Every day, children, parents with their child, elder people and people with handicaps are often in reduced mobility situation to walk, to cycle or to use public transportation. In fact, any citizens would face these difficulties a day or an other to move without a car.
ACCESSIBILITY ENHANCES SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY AND CYCLING
Based on final user needs, universal conception tries to integrate from earlier steps all potential users needs. By answering to people with reduced mobility needs, benefits will concern anyone with or without handicap.
To develop a sustainable mobility supply and cycling, local governments are highly recommended to have a universal conception approach. Improving accessibility brings about many benefits both for individuals and for society. Investing in accessibility is a cost effective way of contributing to a sustainable economy and tackling the future challenges of demographic, economic and environmental changes.
60 AUDITORS WILL ASSIST MUNICIPALITIES, CITIES AND REGIONS.
As the French speaking partner and auditor trainer, Benoit Beroud is proud to promote the innovative European project ISEMOA project. 19 organisations from 15 European countries have developed the ISEMOA audit quality method for 3 years. In May 2013, more than 60 auditors will have been trained in 15 European countries.
By co-working with an ISEMOA auditor, any European local government will improve daily trips for all its citizens, meanwhile make easier travelling without a car.
ISEMOA is a development of BYPAD. This is one of the strongest future tool to enable local governments to become more cycling friendly.
