Cycling Visionaries Awards – Project Details

Velo Help

“Velo Help” is an architectural landmark for the bicycle. The main focus of this project is a free source of information customized for bicycle tourists.

It is conceptualized especially for the orientation of cyclists. “Velo Help” is a tool to gain insights of the region. It includes two ways of getting information, on the one hand there is the main station, that displays information on a touchscreen, on the other hand there is a smaller station with the possibility to get the smartphone-app. All stations have free wifi included. One of our main goals was the free and easy transmission of information. The architectural landmarks are placed close to the bicycle routes, on the main points of interests like, sights, train stations, cruise ship stations and other ways of public transport.
