Bike City
Bike City is a Viennese flagship project for bikefriendly, ’car-reduced’ housing and promotes everyday bike use through the following measures:
- 330 bike parking slots, i.e. over three slots per flat
- Two lifts for transporting up to three bicycles and three persons in one go
- Only 56 car parking slots in the underground garage for a total of 99 flats
- One slot for a car-sharing vehicle
- One bike workstation with water connection and tire pump in the inner courtyard
- Parking space for bikes and lockable bike storage rooms on all floors
- Parking space directly in front of flats; special rooms for children’s bikes
